GIWEH Director General Dr. Nidal Salim participated in the official Opening for The stakeholder Consultation Meeting of the 2^nd Asia International Water Week as a Board of Governance member of Asia Water Council. Opening Remarks was presented by Mr. Hak - Soo Lee, President of AWC, welcome remarks from H.E Prof. Basuki Hadimoeljono, Minister of Public Works and Housing of Indonesia followed by 2nd Asia International Water Week Thematic Session where Dr. Nidal SALIM is the Champion for Knowledge Base and dissemination. The specific committee Champions are; AWP- Australia Water Partnership, k- Water, IWRH- China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, RID- Royal Irrigation Department - Thailand, UNESCO and GIWEH- Global Institute for Water Environment and Health.
